The Ellsworth Air Force Base 

Major Phillip Rehmert from Ellsworth Air Force Base gave an interesting presentation on some history, what they do, and the B1 Bomber. The capabilities, and security that they provide us are amazing.  The amount of ordinance, and the global range of the B1 are tremendous. He also reviewed the different conflicts that the B1's stationed at Ellsworth have been involved in. They were sent to Afghanistan on the first night raid after 9/11, having departed Rapid City, going over dropping their bombs, and returning, without landing.... WOW..
